Postgres Support for Cognos Analytics Content Store

Postgres is supported by Cognos Analytics as a data source but is not supported as a content store database. From a deployment and cost perspective it would make sense to support Postgres for both so that it simplifies the process.

 

Currently, we would be able to deploy Postgres for the data source on the cloud but would have to deploy an Oracle to support the content store. This mixed topology is not cost effective or ideal from a technical perspective.

    Only because of this limitation in cognos content store,cost for organization is increasing a lot.

    We need Support for postgres or redshift immediately
