Unlocked cells in web

Cells that are locked in form in Excel, are open in web. This is probably due to the fact that the forms are not opened in an Excel environment, but as a web form. This creates a loophole to input data into accounts that should not reported into.

    Hi from product management...

Cell locking does work for free forms from the 10.4.2 release.

As you mentioned, for standard forms there is a limitation around the grid that comes with the UI framework.

We do plan to move to new UI framework so we will review the possbility to lock forms on standard forms at that time to determine if it is possible.

We may also consider using the same mechanism - an Excel experience - that we use for free forms in web for standard forms too which would obviously enable us to offer this feature on standard forms.
