Currently, all icons on Citrix Storefront are completely visible to all users whether they need to see them or not.
The idea would be to map users in a way that specific icons are visible only to specific users
Prod-CC to all
FAP to Admins only
Dev and Staging/ Testing to select group of people
This helps with establishing SOX control + not confuse users with too many icons they do not need to have access to.
|Who would benefit from this IDEA?||Every Cognos Controller User & admin teams.|
How should it work?
1 - we create users' Citrix accounts.
2 - In the Citrix account screen, we can add AD group mappings. Every user would get mapped to one or more AD Group
3 - The AD-Group is mapped to icons
4 - Thus membership to one or more groups will show one or more icons as the case may be
|Priority Justification||Reduce confusion for users, manage activity based security etc. Sox Compliance will be easy|
