Our company has an IT security requirement that all data has a classification whether it is electronic or printed on paper. There are four different classifications of data and the user should be allowed to choose one. The label would need to be in the upper right or lower right hand corner. The length of the label would need to be 25 characters. For any data that is exported to a spreadsheet, we have this capability in Excel. However, this does not address many of the views within Controller such as Company Journals view, Data Entry for Historical Rates, Data Entry for Shareholdings and Investments in Group Companies, Reconcile Between Accounts/Opening Balances (PDF), Reports - Trial Balance with Drill Down.

2.) Each different classification of data has different security protocols. This would enhance the protection of sensitive company data.
3.) Any items that are exported to Excel are marked with the Data Classification Label. However this is not an option for most of the reports/views in Controller.
