I have just tried the options to hide an attachment and the other options. They work great. We are back in business. Thanks for adding this option back.

Is there an update as to when this feature will be available?
Can this be done as a patch for 11.1.7 enhancement? It's very important for us. We're upgrading to 11.1.7 which is a LTS release.
Also instead of going to each roles and choose to Hide, can it be similar to v 10 to choose what roles to Show. Because there are so many roles to change to hide, and only Administrator and one role are allowed to see the option in our environment.
Hi Joe, the capabilities were actually blocked by some work we had to do in other areas and all of the changes will ship together in a future release allowing us to add these capabilities there as well. The changes are very significant and not something that we can back port to 11.1.13. So users who would like to take advantage of them would have to upgrade to the latest 11.1.x
Will this change be available as a patch to our Cognos version 11.0.13 or will we need to upgrade to a newer release version 11.1.XX to get the change.
Hi everyone, we are very aware of this requirement along with many other for emails going out from Cognos. Please see the attached image to see some of the email capabilities we are already working on in the lab. These will be available in the near future this year.
Has there been any update or effort to a related request? Our customer is in need of this functionality for their business needs. Thank you

This prevents the sending of PHI both on the part of IBM and clients.
The ability to control attachments vs. links (forcing authentication) being sent in email is essential to protect PHI content consumption
This seems to pertain to Cognos Analytics, not Cognos Controller, I have changed offering to reflect this. Thanks.
